The Roles of Main Parts For Hydraulic Drilling Rig
1. Power: Powered by diesel engine or electromotor when the drilling rig works
2. Clutch: Pull up/down the handle to turn on/off the power
3. Gearbox: Control the switch between the gyrator and winch, and adjust their speed. The right handle turns on the gyrator and winch. The left and middle handles control the rotary speed.
4. Winch: Pull up/down the drilling tools by the steel wire winded on drill tower. The drilling tools can be lift by right handle, fallen and broken by left handle.
5. Gyrator: Lock the Kelly by gripping ring, control the machine’s drilling by vertical shaft’s up/down and the driving nuts’ transmission. Lift the gripping ring to loosen the Kelly, then vertical shaft can up and down. Push down the ring to lock the Kelly, and the Kelly would lift or drill with the vertical shaft’s up/down.
6. Reducer: To transfer power and control the washing water’s supply by mud pump when drilling. Down the handle to stop water, and up the handle to continue water supply.
7. Mud pump: Controlled by the reducer and pump out the proportional mud when drilling; cool the drilling bit and pump the inside sediment out of the drilling hole.
8. Hydraulic System: Control the speed of gyrator by left handle and up/down of the vertical shaft by right handle. Up to lift, down to fall, middle to stop and the top to weigh the drilling tools. Turn left the pressure valve to low the pressure and turn right to add the pressure. The lifting speed of vertical shaft varies with the change of pressure. Push down the left handle to adjust the lifting speed and
Speed governing valve to adjust the drilling speed. Turn left to slow down, and turn right to go faster. Pressure meter weighs the drilling tools and test the pressure of borehole bottom
